PHILIPPIANS 1:21
A Straight Betwixt Two
Philippians 1:21-25, For to me to live is Christ, and to
die is gain. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot
not. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be
with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more
needful for you. And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and
continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith.
For I am in a strait
betwixt two having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far
better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. I am in a
straight betwixt two: law and grace in Christ Jesus. The difference between law
and grace and that which brings law and grace together is the cross of Jesus
Christ. To be in a straight betwixt two
is to be on a cross.
Jesus Christ is in a
straight betwixt two. God is from everlasting to everlasting and in between is
Jesus Christ having to come to this earth in the form of man and dying on the
cross becoming sin for us and rising from the grave defeating death. This is a
straight betwixt two.
Jesus said in Matthew
16:24, Then said Jesus unto His disciples, if any man
will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up
his cross and follow Me.
The phrase, in a straight betwixt two is way of saying law and
grace in Christ Jesus.
There are many ways to be
separated unto the gospel of God. Sometimes to follow Christ does not mean to
give up or sacrifice things that you desire sometimes it means to learn to use
the things that are in your life for Jesus. Genesis
For your fellowship in the
gospel from the first day until now is the fellowship of the mystery, which
from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things in
Jesus Christ. If therefore you are in a straight betwixt two it should indeed
be, yea, it truly should be betwixt the law and grace of the cross, a
consolation in Christ, a comfort of love, a fellowship
of the Spirit fulfilling all the good pleasure of His will.
A Christian is a follower
of the way. 2000 years ago Christianity was called the way. Are you a follower
of the way? To turn from your sins to Jesus does mean suffering and sacrifice
but it also means an increase in romance in your life just as in the days When
Rome ruled the world.
There are many ways to
learn about the gospel of Jesus: the death, the burial, the resurrection of
Jesus on the cross, Christ being both holy and becoming sin for us, Christ
being both King of kings and just a man on this earth, yes there are many ways
to learn about law and grace in Christ Jesus. One way is a cross of suffering.
Another way is a cross of romance. Few in this world will ever learn a new thing
in the earth.
Revelation 1:6, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father;
to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Revelation
In 1999 I started
preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. The LORD hath created a NEW thing in the
earth. A Woman shall compass a man. The way of a man with a maid is the way of
the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. Just as Enoch walked with God and was not
you can walk with God on a cross of romance just as Aquilla
and Priscilla did in the days of
Philippians
I Timothy 4:1-4 says, Now the Spirit speaketh expressly,
that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to
seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having
their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to
abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of
them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of
God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving.
In the latter times some
shall depart from the faith, forbidding to marry; a doctrine of devils. God
loves the way of an eagle in the air. God loves the way of ship in the midst of
the sea. God loves the way of a man with a maid. Marriage is honourable in all and the bed undefiled. But whoremongers
and adulterers God will judge.
These are the latter
times. These are the last days. This is the age of grace. The grace of God
shall continue to increase until the twinkling of an eye. Therefore this means
romance and the way of a man with maid shall increase until the end of the age.
Time and romance are very closely connected. They influence each other in every
way. As time becomes shorter romance increases. The time is shorter, because it
is the last days.
In talking about marriage
and romance it is always important to understand and to have the wisdom to wait
on the LORD and to marry the right person. It is also important to understand
that God wants romance to increase in your life not decrease. The way of a man
with a maid is something that is meant to keep the Spirit of Jealousy burning
in your heart, to keep you in the exceeding weight of the glory of the gospel
of Jesus Christ. You will never know romance the way God intends it to be until
you understand that romance as much as any joy or sorrow, as much as any cross
or pleasure is something that is the gospel of Jesus Christ. There is more
pleasure in marrying the right person than in sin.
In some ways love is for
the youth. Rejoice, O, young man in thy youth. Proverbs 5:18-19, Let thy fountains be blessed: and
rejoice with the wife of thy youth. Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant
roe: let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always
with her love.
For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain. Some shall depart from the
faith, forbidding to marry, forbidding to love. Yet
God says in Ezekiel 16:8, Now when I passed by thee,
and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my
skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware
unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith
the Lord God, and thou becamest mine. Hosea
2:19-20 says, And
I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in
righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness,
and in mercies I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD.
Now is the time of love,
now is the time to enter into a covenant with God, now
is the time to be betrothed unto Jesus Christ. Jeremiah 31:3 says, The LORD hath appeared of old unto me saying, Yea, I have
loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness
have I drawn thee.
Romance and true love is
something God created. It shall increase as the perilous times and the grace
increases in this end of the age of grace. When an eye twinkles it is the twinkling
of romance of a lover when his eyes are caste upon His chaste virgin.
2 Corinthians 11:2, For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: For I have
espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as
a chaste virgin to Christ.
I am in a straight betwixt
too. For me to live is Christ and to die is gain. It
is appointed unto man once to die but after this the judgment. Everyone lives and every dies. Life and death and the time inbetween is the straight all men are in. It is the law and
grace of the cross of Jesus Christ and desire for romance that truly does exist
within the hearts of all men and women in this world.
Luke chapter 17:26-27, And as it was in the days of Noe,
so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank,
they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed
them all.
As it was in the days of
Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man. This age of grace:
grace, grace unto it. They married and were given in marriage and so shall they
be until the return of Christ. God loves the way of a man with a maid in Christ
Jesus.
I am in a straight betwixt
too. For me to live is Christ and to die is gain. To
live and to die and to love in Jesus; to speak of marriage, yea, to speak of
romance behold lo! This word hath touched thy heart: Matthew 27:45-46 says, Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land
unto the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice,
saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is to say,
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me.
From the 6th
hour to the 9th hour my God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me. The 69 of law in grace in Christ Jesus is romance. What
do you think of when you think of 69? I think of romance. I think of the way of
an eagle in the air from sea to sea from the seas of the everlasting love of
God to the seas of the everlasting love of God.
O, to speak to thy lover
face to face. I will move them with jealousy: the jealousy of the love of God.
Ezekiel 36:5, Therefore thus saith
the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I
spoken.
2013 years of grace, 2013
years of 69, 2013 years of straightening the bowels. 2013 years of Jesus hanging
on the cross crying, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Isaiah 33:14 says, The sinners in
The sinners in
My heart is enlarged towards
you. Are ye straitened in your own bowels? Whereupon to speak of ways, where is
the good way? Who shall touch it? Thus to speak of touches it is not a light
thing for a man to touch a womans heart nor for a woman to touch a man. For to
touch; hands must work and rest but to touch a heart one must do so not with
passion in all its meager hispidity but with
sincerity and with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Such is the way of a man with a
maid. And such is the way of God with sinful man.
In this world is it Jesus
verses the devil. In this world it is the way of a man with a maid verses
homosexuality. Romans 1:24-27, Wherefore God also
gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed
the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and serve the creature more than
the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up
unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that
which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of
the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that
which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error
which was meet.
Notice what the Bible says
about homosexuality: vile affections. And
notice what the Bible says about the way of a man with a maid in marriage: Honourable
in all. The world is turning the grace of God into lasciviousness. They are dishonouring
their own bodies between themselves and turning away from the natural use of
the man and the woman. It is perilous times for men and women are lovers of
their own selves. Why trimmest thou thy way to seek love?
Philippians 1:21, For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. I am in a straight betwixt too on a cross of
law and grace; the 69 of the 6th and the 9th hour.
Perilous times are
increasing in this world. Homosexuality, sodomy, and lasciviousness is increasing in this world tremendously. Slavery is
increasing in this world tremendously. Time is running out for the age of
grace. Today is the day of salvation. There is a time and a season for
everything under sun including a time to repent of your sins to Jesus Christ
and a time to love.
Romans chapter 2:11-12, For there is no respect of persons with God. For as many as
have sinned without the law shall also perish without the law: and as many as
have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
In talking about romance
what should be talked about is the love of God, the eternal everlasting love of
God from sea to sea from everlasting to everlasting. Time is running out. Behold
love an only love is come, the love of Jesus Christ for lost souls. Behold a
time an only time is coming, the morning and the night; the twinkling of an
eye! God is reaching out both in His gentleness and in His majesty, in His
mercy and in His judgment, reaching out in His kisses of lovingkindness.
No one, no preacher, no Christian will ever love the lost souls of men as much
as Jesus does. Today is the day of salvation. No opportunity lasts for ever
because there must be judgment for sin. God has wrath and indignation for sin.
The name of Jesus is Jealous: the Jealous Jehovah. The world is stirring in
jealousy. God is stirring the hearts of men and women in the fire of His
jealousy. This is romance, this is love.
Canst thou bind the sweet
influences? Nay, thou canst not. Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a
marvelous work among this people, even a marvel and a wonder with the fire of
my jealousy. It shall increase as it has increased. We shall be in a straight betwixt too, life
and death, law and grace and the romance of perilous times. Dishonour or honour?
Choose ye one way or the other: the way of a man with
a maid in marriage or lasciviousness. For as many as have sinned without law
shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be
judged by the law. Lift up thine eyes, and behold the
LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, the way of a man with a maid. Jesus
has loved thee with an everlasting love therefore with lovingkindness
has He drawn thee.
In the latter times some
shall depart from the faith forbidding to marry. Yet I
say grace; grace unto thee through the blood of Jesus Christ. Time is passing and
therefore God is passing you by. Behold thy time is the time of love; the time
to be established with grace; The time to fulfill all
the good pleasure of the will of God in the way of a man with a maid in
marriage. The travesty of this world is a travesty that you do not have to know
if you will only turn from your sins to Jesus if you will only turn to the way
of a man with a maid and fulfill all the good pleasure of the will of God.
Jesus will betroth you
until Him forever if you will only turn from your sins and turn to the love of
God. Behold, now is the time of love! Hosea 2:19-20 says, And I will betroth
thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and
in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies I
will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt
know the LORD.
