Ezekiel 21:1
Therefore shall my sword go forth.
Ezekiel chapter
21:1-5 says, And the word of the LORD came unto me,
saying, Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the
holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel, And say to the land of
Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against
thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from
thee the righteous and the wicked. Seeing then that I will cut off form thee
the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his
sheath against all flesh from the south to the north. That all flesh may know
that I the LORD have drawn forth my sword out of his
sheath: it shall not return any more.

Ezekiel the priest preached the Word of God.
The message that God told Ezekiel to give was a message of judgment;
judgment against the nation of
In talking about the
judgment of God what is mentioned is the sword. A sword is an instrument of
war. Until modern times the sword was the chief instrument of war on the battle
field, until the invention of the gun. In talking about judgment and in talking
about a sword, a sword can be symbolic of words, especially the Word of God.
We live in days and
times of war. Here in the
To
understand just how words can be a sword notice the word liberalism. The word liberal really is the same word as
the word liberty, one is an adjective and one is a noun.
There is always the
freedom, the liberty to do and to choose to do what is right. No one, no
government no chains be they chains of iron or chains
of sound no chains can take away the God given liberty to do what is right. But
notice the difference from 1776 and now 237 years later here in the
God can use His Word
and God can use any words as a sword of judgment upon a nation. In a country in which the constitution states, freedom of speech.
To behold such great pressure against freedom of speech especially the speaking
forth of the truth be it the Word of God or even political truths, is a war and
even a judgment of God on a nation which has begun turning into the slaveries
of satellite technology, whoremongers, drugs, idolatry, devil worship, and
homosexuality. This is a war and a
judgment, a battle for freedom here in the

the holy places. To drop means to prophesy. Song of Solomon
There is no sword in
this world more powerful than the sword of the LORD, the word of God. When we consider how powerful the words of
God are then we can see how gentle and gracious God is in the given of His
Word. His lips are like lilies dropping sweet smelling myrrh. The truth must be
preached. Mercy and judgment in Jesus Christ law and grace in Jesus Christ must
be prophesied. This is the gentleness of the judgment of God upon those whom
need to turn from their sins to Jesus.
In talking about the
sword of the LORD and the judgment of God Ezekiel 21:4 says, I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked. The words cut off can mean to make a covenant
or to destroy. God has a covenant the covenant of judgment for both the
righteous and the wicked. For those whom turn from their sins to Jesus Christ
it is a covenant of eternal life and forgiveness of sins. For those who refuse
of their own free will to repent of their sins to Jesus the covenant is a
covenant of judgment. I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked. In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God,
and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished
with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory
of His power.

Of course
It is
true you can look at any country in this world and you will problems with slavery,
crime, drugs, battles over religious freedom, freedom
of speech, and many other issues. The world is the same anywhere you go when it
comes to the battle of the truth and the battle over the souls of men. But in
talking about the judgment of God and the power of the Word of God notice what Ezekiel 21:3 says, And say to
the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am
against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off
from thee the righteous and the wicked. I am against thee. There is
nothing worse than for God to be against thee.
The word against is a simple preposition the word is found in Genesis
6:6, And it repent the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it
grieved him at his heart. At his heart. Against,
at. Gensesis
6:6 refers when God destroyed the world with a flood. Any nation can find itself in the situation
of God being against them. Who is God against? God is against those that are
against Him. Jesus said in Matthew 12:30, he that is not with me is against
me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
I think
that despite the tremendous problems in the United States with drugs, violent
murderous crime such as child slavery and molestations, and despite how little
honesty there in the new media, and despite the devil worship going on in this
country and at the white house, I think God still would like to use the United
States for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
God judged
Ezekiel
21:21, I will overturn, overturn, overturn it. I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.
Yes, the righteous and the wicked. In Perilous times even here in the age of
grace when the righteous are cut off from a nation through persecution and
martyrdom it is a judgment on a nation because righteousness exalts a nation.
When God chooses in His judgments to cut off the righteous from a nation then
God is bringing judgment upon a nation. The righteous, Christians, are people who
understand their own sinfulness and rely upon the forgiveness of sins in Jesus
Christ. Christians tend to be the best law abiding citizens in any country, the
ones who pay their taxes, the ones who support freedom and value human life,
and the ones who always excel the best at what they do because of the favour of God upon them. When there is persecution in a
country and martyrdom of Christians and there just about is in all countries of
the world God is allowing it. It is a judgment and also a sign of coming
judgment upon a nation if that persecution does not stop.
Song
of Solomon
Yes tis true the truth can be hard to hear especially for those
who are lost in their sins and are children of wrath and slaves of the devil.
But the lips of Jesus drop sweet smelling myrrh the myrrh of the healing found
in the forgiveness of sins through the blood of Jesus Christ. By the Word of
the LORD the heavens and the earth were formed. How powerful indeed is the Word
of God. The preaching of the Word of God is the gentleness of God, the
preaching of the word of God is the lovingkindness of
God reaching out through the Spirit of God and through the Gospel of Jesus
Christ.
I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.
The righteous and the wicked are being cut off in this country. Christians are
being jailed, murdered, burnt on crosses in

that I the LORD have drawn forth my sword out of his

It shall not return
anymore. In other words once God decides to do something Then He does it no matter what. No
one can stop the will of God. It is true
that God sometimes repents of the judgments that He would do. Because Yes God has
a permissive will that is to say sometimes what God does is in response to what
man does because God has given man a free will. But there is a time and a
season for everything. This means there is a time for the Gospel of Jesus
Christ to be preached unto the world. There is a time for warning of the
judgment of God and pleading to men to accept the grace and the lovingkindness of God. And then there is a time for the
judgment of God.
Ezekiel 21:3, Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out
